| Castle Bridge Combined School is an English medium independent school, situated in Bloemfontein. All efforts will be engaged, if practical, to ensure that all learners attending Castle Bridge Nursery School, Castle Bridge primary school, and Castle Bridge Secondary School understand the subject content, regardless of their home language. The principal and educators of Castyle Bridge private school will take the necessary steps to improve the English language competence of each learner during the course of the Grade 1, 2 and 3 as well as the Grade 8 and 9 years. The processes are undertaken during English language classes. Learners are required and encouraged to progress through the language course until their language competency matches their chronological age. |

| Castle Bridge Secondary School's academic program is broken up into two phases according to the government requirements. Firstly there is the Grade 7, 8 & 9 phase (required to write the National GETC exam at the end of Grade 9) and secondly there is the NSC phase in Grade 10, 11 and 12. At the end of Grade 9 learners are required to write the National exam on each of the required learning areas: Mathematics, Natural Science, Language & Literacy, Technology, History & Social Science, Economic & Management Scienc, Arts & Culture, Life Orientation National Senior Certificate The qualification the pupils from Castle Bridge Independent School will receive on successful completion of Grade 12 will be the National Senior Certificate. |
