| At Castle Bridge Secondary Schoo, situated in Bloemfontein,l children are seen as able, valuable and responsible individuals. Pupils are encouraged to explore and express their individuality within acceptable boundaries, and ultimately to take responsibility for their actions. Castle Bridge Secondary academic program is broken up into two phases according to the government requirements: Firstly there is the Grade 7, 8 & 9 phase (required to write the National GETC exam at the end of Grade 9) and secondly there is the NSC phase in Grade 10, 11 and 12. At the end of Grade 9 learners are required to write the National exam on each of the required learning areas: Castle Bridge Secondary School subject choices include: Computer Science, Language & Literacy, Technology, History & Social Science, Economic & Management Science, Arts & Culture, & Life Orientation. We encourage pupils to participate in sports and culture. Castle Bridge Independent school offers choir, soccer, netball, tennis and rugby and also encourage and recognise independant sport choices such as ballet, marcial arts, etc. |
